Jennifer was born in Beijing and immigrated to Toronto at the age of seven.
As a third-year student studying Rotman Commerce, she is interested in mathematics, finance, law,
and physical education. At UofT, Jennifer is the president of the League of Legends Association.
As the president of TCCSA, she wants to achieve more creative and engaging events for students to attend.
In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, reading, vegan cooking, gaming, watching anime,
and listening to music (especially k-pop).
Jolie is in her fourth year studying International Relations and Global Health. She started off with TCCSA in her second year creating a video for the Chinese New Year high table. Since 2019, she has also been working with Yiran Li and the Trinity College Archive on the Chinese Alumni Oral History Project. She is looking forwards to doing lots of fun events with TCCSA this year, and welcoming all the first- and second-year students who haven't had a chance yet to explore Trinity's student life in person! In her free time, catch her knitting socks and skiing during the winter.
Eunice is currently in her first year of studies looking to double major in immunology and molecular genetics. Through the TCCSA, she hopes to promote life, dignity, and Chinese culture by hosting engaging events to the UofT community, ultimately working towards a world where individuals are free to express their culture and traditions. During her spare time, Eunice enjoys listening to music, volunteering with non-profit organizations, and late-night drives. She is very excited to be apart of the TCCSA this year and cannot wait to meet everyone.
Isaac is a second year student in the Mathematical Applications in Finance and Economics programme. As part of TCCSA, Isaac wants to share Chinese culture with the rest of UofT and promote Chinese identity throughout ethnically Chinese students. When he's not studying, he's either playing basketball, running, reading or socialising.
Charles is double majoring in International Relations and Economics with a minor in Psychology. As Treasurer, Charles wishes to properly manage the finance of the club and maximize the utility from the budget. In his spare time, Charles likes to workout, read, and run.
Kevin is pursuing a molecular genetics and physiology specialist. He is keen to help others avoid the necessity to learn by trial and error, and he will be organizing networking and academic/career-related events for TCCSA. Kevin wishes to host academic events that specifically address the questions and concerns of first-year students, where he can also contribute to the best of his knowledge and ability. As an aspiring academic, over the past year, he spent most of his time conducting research in a physiology lab, under the supervision of Dr. Denise Belsham. You can find his publication (maybe publications in the future) under the name of Wenyuan He.
Hana is a second year student in History major. As the Marketing Director, she looks forward to create posts and organize social media accounts with her team members. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, listening to music, and filmming.
Angela is a third-year political science student at UTSG. She is passionate about learning new things, developing creative ways to solve problems, and finding solutions through analysis and creativity. In leisure time, she enjoys reading literature, playing musical instruments, and volunteering at NGOs. As a marketing executive in TCCSA, she aims to contribute to the group through facilitating and promoting meaningful social events for all students.
Alex is currently a 4th-year student studying computer science. As this year’s webmaster, Alex is looking forward to help increase the Chinese community's online presence by maintaining the TCCSA website. In his leisure time, Alex enjoys working out, playing piano, and gaming. Alex looks forward to meeting new people and engaging with the TCCSA community.
Yiran (Katherine) Li graduated in 2019 with a double major in Socio-Cultural Anthropology and History of Art. She is one of the founding team members of TCCSA and was part of the exec team throughout her undergrad life. Yiran is now taking care of the Chinese Alumni Oral History Project with TCCSA and Trinity College Archive. In her spare time, Yiran likes going to museums and watching films.
Nancy is currently a fourth year student from Vancouver, B.C. studying mathematics education at U of T. As this year's secretary, Nancy devotes to continue developing TCCSA a better platform for cultural dialogue through events and initiatives, while collaborating with various clubs at the Trinity College. In her spare time, she enjoys folding origami and reading novels in her spare time.
